Checon LLC will exhibit at DTECH 2026, the premier event for the transmission and distribution industry. Attendees are invited to visit Booth UL239 to explore Checon’s engineered power components and high-current bus bar solutions supporting utility, industrial, and energy infrastructure applications.

At the show, Checon will showcase copper and aluminum bus bars— engineered with integrated silver, silver tungsten , and copper tungsten electrical contacts. Checon will also feature precision silver- and tin-plated fabrication solutions designed to deliver low contact resistance, thermal stability, and long-term reliability in demanding electrical environments.

These high-performance power components are used across a wide range of applications, including transformer and substation power disconnects, automatic transfer switches (ATS), circuit breakers, vacuum switches, and other high-voltage arcing devices found throughout the power distribution and energy storage marketplace.

Checon’s solutions are engineered to support efficient current transfer and predictable thermal performance. Silvered interfaces reduce resistance and heat at contact points, while tin plating provides corrosion-resistant performance for bolted joints. Copper bus bars support high current density and tight voltage-drop requirements, while aluminum bus bars offer weight and cost advantages with engineered cross-sections to meet required ampacity.

Beyond product manufacturing, Checon collaborates closely with OEM and utility design teams to optimize material selection, contact integration, joint design, plating strategy, and thermal performance. With vertically integrated North American manufacturing, Checon manages machining, contact fabrication, precision plating, and finishing in-house—supporting rapid prototyping, consistent quality, and dependable lead times.

Attendees are encouraged to bring drawings, specifications, or duty-cycle requirements to Booth UL239 to review samples, plating options, and application case studies with Checon’s Applications Engineering and Product Sales team.
