Travis Conaway serves as the Director of Sales Operations for Checon LLC, with 16 years of experience in the manufacturing sector. His comprehensive background in precious metals and industrial electrical contacts began at the three-generation family business, Checon Corporation. Travis rose through the ranks, starting in engineering and IT before moving to the sales division as Customer Experience Manager and Director of Business Development. Travis's ability to forge strong relationships combined with his values-based approach was integral during Checon Corporation's transition to the Alloy Holdings portfolio.

Travis currently manages over $40 million in customer experience accounts spanning multiple industries in the Americas and Europe. In his responsibilities as the new Director of Sales Operations, Travis is focused on enhancing sales systems and capabilities to support new and emerging industries, including the burgeoning EV sector of the automotive industry.

With a passion for product development, problem-solving, and a company culture rooted in community, Travis has garnered a reputation for building successful and engaged teams to scale and create shareholder value. He was pivotal in establishing and developing Checon's first automotive-serving products and has an intuitive understanding of the critical opportunities, whether building the grid to meet tomorrow's electrical demands or advancing the EV market. As someone who has had the opportunity to work alongside his father and grandfather, Travis is excited to be a part of a new era in US manufacturing.

Travis received his BA from Cornell University and has achieved multiple advanced business management, web design, and coding certifications from the AMA and the University of Rhode Island. Curious by nature and always ready to "get after it," Travis draws inspiration from his creative and outdoor pursuits as a skier, surfer, musician, and former pilot. He lives in Rhode Island with his wife, Neko, a dog, and 12 surfboards.
